Thursday, March 14th, at 6:00 PM

Metagoon is pleased to present Prospettica. Magazine of inhabitable futures and its second volume: the Ark. We will talk about visions, dreams, speculations, solutions to floods and submersions, investigating the vast theme of sea urbanization from an architectural perspective, projected into the future and often already present. Photographer Matteo de Mayda will speak about “Era Mare” (bruno, 2019), a contribution to Prospettica no. 2, and “An entire mudflat” (2023), which was exhibited at Camera – Italian Center for Photography (Turin) and produced in collaboration with We Are Here Venice.

Prospettica is a magazine of architecture, innovation, and imagination of the future through the observation of the present. A magazine of inhabitable futures, which investigates, speculates and delves into urban and social dystopias, which are, truth be told, already real. The second issue is “The Ark”, dedicated to floods, rising waters, and the exploration of ideas that humanity has produced to learn to float.

The interventions will be by: Nicola Feninno, editor Giulia Callino, author Matteo de Mayda, photographer

Moderated by Alice Ongaro Sartori (Metagoon), Fulvia Larena (Rupture Books), and Matteo Stocco (Metagoon). The event is organized in collaboration with Rupture Arts & Books (Venice).
